Instructional Leaders Group

Instructional Leaders Group Charter

The Instruction Leaders group is composed of administrators in the Academic Affairs Division who collectively are responsible for managing multiple programs and processes that serve students, staff, faculty, and wider community and support the College in meeting its mission.

Facilitated by two members of the IL group with support from the VPAA, the purpose of this group is to:

  1. Strengthen our collective ability to engage in evidence–informed planning, assessment, and improvement tied to the College’s strategic goals and priorities and reflected in the College’s Mission Fulfillment Process
  2. Create opportunities for collaboration among teams working on similar initiatives and projects, particularly those tied to strategic goals and objectives and the MFR
  3. Provide a collaborative professional learning space for administrators in Academic Affairs
  4. Provide feedback to the VPAA with respect to emerging issues and concerns on campus

The Instruction Leaders group is guided by a commitment to follow our community agreements, including conducting our meetings in ways that facilitate collaboration and provide dedicated work time in alignment with the Institutional Effectiveness process and other College priorities.
